The work of listing the gang of Rajiv Rana and Aditya Upadhyay, accused of the firing incident on Bareilly’s Pilibhit bypass, has begun. The SSP may soon declare a reward on absconding accused Sanjay Rana and Chand Mian. Meanwhile, Dhanush and Mohammad Hussain alias Gola, who were caught in the encounter and had a reward of Rs 25,000 each, were sent to jail on Monday. So far, 31 people have gone to jail in this case.
SSP Anurag Arya had announced a reward on history sheeter KP Yadav, Subhash Lodhi, KP’s special henchman Dhanush Yadav and Mohammad Hussain alias Gola three days ago. All four were arrested in an encounter within two days and sent to jail. Now the main target of the police is the arrest of Sanjay Rana and Chand Mian. Along with issuing non-bailable warrants for them, preparations are on to announce a reward of Rs 25,000 each.
On the morning of 22 June, in Izzatnagar police station area, there was heavy firing between the groups of Rajiv Rana and Aditya Upadhyay over the possession of a plot on Pilibhit bypass. In this case, bulldozers have been run on the properties of both the accused. Many properties of KP Yadav and Rajiv Rana are on the radar of BDA. So far 31 people have gone to jail in this case. Police is busy searching for other accused including Sanjay Rana and Chand Mian.
